Wonderland: A promising debut of an engaging tale

The first episode of the highly anticipated drama Wonderland aired yesterday, and it proved to be a captivating start to what promises to be an engaging serial.

Set in a vibrant and diverse world of filmmaking, the story revolves around an aspiring director Rohail (Fahad Sheikh), who returns to his home country after studying filmmaking abroad – for 4 years – only to face a lot of confusion regarding his career to begin his journey in his quest to bring his creative vision to life.

Penned by the famous writer Rida Bilal, who has many quality serials to her credit, the first episode introduces us to Rohail, his family, and their family dynamics in great detail.

We are shown Rohail’s struggles and confusion about his career path along with some moments of lightheartedness and heartwarming family dynamics.

These lighter moments provide a much-needed respite from the intensity of the Rohail’s struggles, allowing viewers to breathe and enjoy some delightful comedic relief.

The dynamics between the protagonist and his family are beautifully depicted, showcasing the complexities and love that bind them together.
