As the holy month of Ramzan nears its end, we are all working our best to make the most of the limited time left. While there is no specific time to engage in worship and remembrance of God, some instances have special and unique blessings associated with them. In the last ashra of Ramzan, Muslims all around the world search and seek for Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power) which Allah has described in the Quran as “better than a thousand months”; the significance and attention associated to it has driven us to indulge in Zikr on this night.
To play their part in bringing everyone together on this Holy night for Zikr, Ehsaas Ramazan arranged a special Sehri transmission for its audience, and the viewers all around the country. It managed to do so successfully, as the transmission started with a beautiful recitation of Surat ul Qadr, as the occasion demanded, in the soulful voices of Qari Zain-ul-Abideen and Qari Haseeb Khan.
The theme or topic for the transmission was the beauty of asking from and remembering Allah on this special night. With the team of scholars, preachers, and Naat Khawans lightening up the auspicious gathering, everyone indulged in discussing the blessings and importance of this night. Hosted by the versatile Rabia Anum who has managed to do justice to this special task, the night looked to be full of light and awe on Ehsaas Ramzan’s special Sehri transmission.
As the believers yearns to seek out these unique opportunities to come closer to Allah, the transmission provided the perfect platform for viewers as everyone indulged in answering queries and helping the believers overcome their problems. Living in an era of digital distractions and materialistic heedlessness, worship is often squeezed into brief moments in our daily routines.
A special night asks for special treatment, and there was no better way than to listen to the Zikr of Allah. Ehsaas Ramzan offered the opportunity for an intense spiritual experience for all of us and to set aside the worldly life and its distractions.
