LAHORE: A three-day 7up Food Festival concluded successfully with a huge number of visitors from all corners of the city and provided families an opportunity to plan a perfect day out.
During the festival, a diverse line-up of culinary talents local chefs also offered special festival menus, discounts, and great meal deals.
Offering a whole lot of delicious meals and 7Up-based drinks to enthusiastic attendees, the event had Lahori’s busting great bhangra moves with Abrar-ul-Haq.
Exquisite delicacies such as biryani, kunna, karrahi, channa chaat, seafood, Chinese cuisine, qorma, qeema and desserts are just some of the few names that were available on different stalls.
Another thing that added to the vibe was the ‘ Rangeela Rickshaw, ‘ a rickshaw inspired by Pakistani truck art that provided pick – and – drop service from the parking to the venue’s entrance. It really added to the feeling of tradition while providing the visitors with comfort.
Atif Aslam, Sajjad Ali, Josh, Kashmir and several local bands had Lahore swaying the beat with strobe lights and a cool breeze, making it the perfect spring weekend.
The performance of Atif Aslam added the right musical notes to the night and had the audience singing along his most hit songs.
Renowned celebrities like Anoushey Ashraf, Hania Amir, Iqra Aziz, Azfar Rehman, Feroze Khan and Dino were also spotted at the festival enjoying every moment of it.
Talking to this scribe, organisers of the event said: “This year’s Festival have been fantastic bringing top singers and chefs under one roof for the public of Lahore. Visitors have watched chef demonstrations, got involved with hands-on activities and enjoyed live music throughout the weekend. Madeeha Rajput, a housewife said: “More such events should be organized because it gives us a chance to interact with our favourite chefs and taste delicious food made by them.”
