There is a new drama by 7th Sky Entertainment titled “Deewangi,” written by Sadia Akhter and directed by Zeeshan Ahmed, which portrays a story about two different classes of people coming from completely different backgrounds and their paths would cross each other.
For the first time, Hiba Bukhari (playing Nageen Faiyaz) and Danish Taimoor (playing Sultan Durrani) have been paired together as leads in the drama, which makes Deewangi very appealing to watch because they are both loved all across the nation.
The drama has aired six episodes so far, and we already love the intensity of the show. With its unique and impressive story line, it has given us a lot to think about.
Here are five things that we have learned from the drama so far!Money can’t buy everything.
Money cant buy everything
We get one major example of this fact from the drama. One comes from Sultan Durrani’s character. He is rich, in fact, he is shown as the rich spoilt boy born in a family of rich history, but the moment he falls in love with Nageen Faiyaz, his money and his status fail to impress her. He has to leave behind his luxury to earn Nageen’s interest.
Being rich and powerful doesn’t give you the right to stalk a woman
Although we genuinely love Sultan Durrani’s character and we also love the way he falls for Nageen, following her to places so that he can get to talk to her or even get a glimpse of her is borderline creepy. It puts Nageen in an uncomfortable situation and is what basically drives her away from him, as she can’t see him for what he is because of these actions. 7th Sky Entertainment has done a brilliant job in portraying how this kind of behavior is not justified.
If you are being stalked, it would be smart not to take matters in your own hands
In the initial episodes of the drama, Nageen’s friend Faryal is stalked by a guy who supposedly is in love with her. Faryal rejects his proposals. His reaction to rejection is an acid attack which eventually kills her. Not all stalkers turn out to be Sultan Durrani. Some are psycho or have bad intentions and must be dealt with proper action. Take help from concerned authorities and never deal with them alone.
Love, at first sight, doesn’t always work. You have to earn it
The drama portrays the true nature of love at first sight in real life, which is very different from what we see on our television screens. It is not immediately accepted or happens at the same time for both. It has to be earned, and it takes time.
Respect comes before love
Nageen is a very strong-headed girl. She knows right from wrong, and she knows how to keep herself within the boundaries even when she has to work outside. When Sultan Durrani falls in love with her, he tries everything to win her over. He confesses his passion, he follows her around, he offers her a better job, but he gets no attention. In the end, he gets her attention by earning the spot of respect, and that is where he will find a way to her heart.
Deewangi’s story is intensifying with each passing episode. With the 6th episode on-air, Sultan has finally found respect in Nageen’s heart. We cannot wait to see more of Nageen & Sultan’s chemistry on our screens.
