Zindagi is all set to treat the audience with its second original – Ek Jhoothi Love Story, directed by Mehreen Jabbar starring the incredible Madiha Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan.
It is no doubt that the show’s interesting plot has stirred excitement amongst the viewers but the popularity of the stellar cast has only paved a path for an exciting premier launch on 30th October on ZEE5.
Madiha Imam who is the leading actress of the show made her debut with the Indian film Dear Maya in 2017. With her compelling performance, it is clear that she is here to stay. But in today’s growing social media era, celebrities are more often than not subjected to pressure and the myth of perfect lives.
Conveying her views on social media’s impact, Madiha shared that she is not a victim to the social media world. “I don’t take the pressure of social media because I am very lazy and not too active on social media. Although, while promoting any project my directors and producers would ask me to post, otherwise I keep it very basic. At times, I do get overwhelmed when any of my projects are out there. If I see negative comments during that time, it does get to me a little bit. Other than that I don’t really get bothered.”
Madiha emphasised how she is particular regarding the feedback she allows herself to consume. “Also, I don’t like the idea of getting addicted to social media where you are constantly checking and coming across the news. I like to have a set time for these things and also I am quite careful of the kind of content/information I am taking in.”
On speaking of the show Madiha conveys how the show is beyond a love story. “Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a beautiful narration of an imperfect family who is chasing perfections in this imperfect world. It is a story that will feel like yours. A wholesome yet entertaining story.”
