The Donkey King celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a special party in Greece

After two years since its premiere in Pakistan, The Donkey King has now headed to cinemas across Greece on its second anniversary. The animated film has been announced to premiere on 65 screens across Greece this weekend, dubbed in the Greek language.

Marked as another win under its belt, this would be the first Pakistani film to have dubbed theatrical release in Greece. Setting new benchmarks for the Pakistani cinema, the comedy-satire film follows the story of Mangu, a donkey who becomes king by chance.

The Donkey King has been a global ambassador for Pakistani cinema with dubbed theatrical release across 12 countries including South Korea, Spain, Turkey, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador amongst others. Besides this, the film had a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime in USA & UK, and on Netflix across Africa.
