Raaz-e-Ulfat becomes fastest OST to reach 31M views on YouTube

Music has always played a big part in Pakistani dramas, with original soundtracks offering clues to keen eyes and ears. 7th Sky Entertainment has continued this proud tradition of grand OSTs. With their productions, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi have been able to deliver on the music front too.

The song was sung by Shani Arshad and Aima Baig, while Sabir Zafar penned its lyrics. The drama has already been breaking viewership records with consistently trending on the top 3 spots on YouTube last week.

Hence, it is no surprise that the OST is breaking viewership and YouTube records too. This is certainly an amazing achievement and is also reflective of the fact that millions are connected and invested in these characters’ stories.

If you look at the comment section of the song on YouTube, there are many comments by people who don’t even understand Urdu.

The general sentiment is, we might not understand what the words mean, but the music video gives you a look into the unique story, and the pain and anguish are keenly felt through it.
